Freewallshowed at 100% Design exhibition, we used the exhibition to showcase our
designs of locker units and storage wall cupboards, showing the versatility of
the units. The centre piece of our display was an AV unit, in which, on the
enclosed tv screen, played a video of how these units were made and also
assembled at the exhibit. This along with the video of our workshop boys in
action proved to be very successful and attracted many visitors to the stand.
We enjoyed meeting with existing clients and indeed new and potential clients,
the stand was manned by staff from the Freewall team who found the whole
experience enjoyable, and refused to rise to the comments from the office about
being “on a jolly” for the day.

The initial product assessment of Freewall was in-depth,
objective and thorough. Workmanship, ergonomics, strength and stability,
as well as finish performance and effects of atmosphere on the product
were examined by FIRA. The assessment also involved an audit of the Anco Storage factory in Billingshurst, West Sussex.
The FIRA Gold Product Certification scheme is backed by an
ongoing re-audit and re-test programme to ensure that having achieved
FIRA Gold Certification, the standard is maintained. There is also an
annual factory audit to ensure that the factory produces the product to
the same standards as the original assessment of the furniture. This
means a review of production procedures, design changes and an
examination of the complaint record ensures that any adverse trends are
spotted and resolved as soon as possible.
