The assessment also involved an audit of the Anco Storage factory in Billingshurst, West Sussex.
The FIRA Gold Product Certification scheme is backed by an ongoing re-audit and re-test programme to ensure that having achieved FIRA Gold Certification, the standard is maintained. There is also an annual factory audit to ensure that the factory produces the product to the same standards as the original assessment of the furniture. This means a review of production procedures, design changes and an examination of the complaint record ensures that any adverse trends are spotted and resolved as soon as possible.
